    [size=45]Oil Minister Hayan Abdul Ghani confirmed that Iraq will stop importing gas after completing investment projects.[/size]
    [size=45]Abdul Ghani said during the cabinet session that “Iranian gas continues to equip power stations,” pointing out that “the quantities of imported gas are not sufficient to operate all power stations.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “Dry gas production in Iraq exceeded two thousand million cubic feet,” noting that “we recorded an increase in the rate of gas investment during the current year.”[/size]
    [size=45]He continued: “We are continuing to implement 8 major projects to invest in associated gas,” noting that “the first phase of the solar power station project will be completed next year.”[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that “the first phase of the solar energy project includes providing 250 megawatts,” stressing that “we have concluded a number of agreements to invest in low-pressure gas.”[/size]
