    [ltr]Higher Committee called for annexation of the marshes and archaeological areas in Iraq to the World Heritage List, Friday, Pope Francis Pope to visit the ancient city of Ur and support the vote for Iraq to join the marshes World Heritage Site .[/ltr]
    [ltr]Committee Chairman Qahtan al - Jubouri in a speech during a ceremony held by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry in thecity of Nasiriyah , in the presence of Iraqi officials and diplomatic personalities of several, "I deeply thank theMinistry of Foreign Affairs initiated to establish this event unique to contribute to the payment of the marshes andthe effects of file toward our goal desired."[/ltr]
    [ltr]He said al - Jubouri, an adviser to the president, that " the Commission renews its call for the Pope to visit Ur Muscat head of the Prophet Ibrahim , peace be upon him, and the demand of the Pope 's support to vote in favor ofIraq , " calling at the same time to "unify and coordinate efforts for the annexation of the marsh to the list ofheritage Global".[/ltr]
    [ltr]The Prime Minister Haider al - Abadi confirmed earlier on Friday, his keenness to provide all the inclusion of marshand archaeological sites to the World Heritage List accessories, as instructed to form a higher committee to followthe requirements of national document that supports the claim registration of those sites.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Organized by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry visit to ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Iraq to marsh areas and a number of archaeological sites in Dhi Qar province.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The visit comes within the tireless efforts of the ministry with many countries of the world in order to support theannexation of the marshes and areas where archaeological sites to the approved list of World Heritage sites by UNESCO file.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Iraq has struggled to bring the Iraqi marshlands to the World Heritage list and make it an "international protectorate" over 29 / D 24[/ltr]
