<p style="text-align: left;" class="caption"><p style="text-align: left;">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, received a gratitude message from Pope Francis of Vatican in response to a former message sent by Hakim on the occasion of his nomination as the Pope of the Vatican.
A statement by the SIIC received by IraqiNews.com cited “His Majesty, Pope Francis, expressed his gratitude and deep appreciation for Hakim’s message, asking the almighty to bless Hakim and all Iraqis with peace and blessings.”
