Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced its call for the House of Representatives to delay the questioning of Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi, until the resolution of the battle of Mosul and freed from the control of Daesh.
Ebadi said that "any minister in charge of the Iraqi state requires investigation independently, as well as to provide evidence and arguments to prove the charges against him", adding that "the timing of the questioning and defense minister in the parliament was wrong."
He added, "I asked the House of Representatives delayed questioning al-Obeidi, until the resolution of the battle of Mosul and freed from the control of Daesh or for the completion of the preparations for the battle to be launch in the coming period."
