The Iraqi ambassador in Ankara Hashim upper that there is a set of steps taken by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order to end the presence of Turkish troops in Mosul file.
In the upper interview for "direction," he said a meeting with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister held yesterday and we stressed the need to move away from the Turkish government statements that will increase cramping Iraqi-Turkish relations.
He explained that the upper continuous Turkish side in his statements repeatedly, noting that the foreign ministry filed a complaint to the UN Security Council and called for an emergency session to discuss the subject.
He said the Iraqi ambassador said a statement issued by the Arab League supports its previous position and rejecting the presence of Turkish troops in Mosul.
It is said that dozens of Iraqis gathered on Saturday, in front of the Turkish embassy building in Baghdad, demanding Ankara remove its troops stationed in hand Ba'shiqah in Nineveh province.
According to media sources, the scores came out, on Saturday afternoon, a demonstration in front of the Turkish embassy building in downtown, noting that the demonstrators demanded that the Turkish government to withdraw its forces from hand Ba'shiqah in Nineveh province. She added that the demonstrators chanted slogans condemning the "violation" of Iraqi sovereignty, and waved placards bore the phrase "Turkey overland by road."
