    Twilight News / discussed with the Ministry of Planning and the French Development Agency on Thursday the reality of service projects in Iraq and the role of the IAEA in its funding, particularly in the liberated areas.
    This came at a meeting, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning and Technical Affairs Maher Hammad with a delegation from the French Development Agency, according to a ministry statement reported for Twilight News.
    During the meeting, they reviewed the priority at the current stage and the contribution of the French Agency for funding in accordance with the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries and work to facilitate procedures and provide appropriate conditions for the work of service projects.
    Undersecretary of the Ministry of Planning, said the delegation of the French Development Agency that "the liberated areas of occupation Daesh terrorist is today an urgent need to implement a quick and relevant service projects and Bklv few in order to provide services and create a state of instability in those areas."
    Hammad called on the French Development Agency to support the Iraqi government through soft development loans to help them implement service projects including water projects, adding that the Ministry of Planning are now starting work on the new development plan for the years 2018-2022.
    He expressed the ministry's desire to get the French Agency support in this project, especially with regard to the provision of experts in the field of preparation of development plans.
    So The members of the French Agency delegation Development Agency's readiness to resume negotiations with the Iraqi side in order to re-prioritize projects that require funding within the loan, which was approved by the French government of Iraq and of 200 million euros in the first batch and will be dedicated this loan to finance large and medium enterprises and the re-building capacity and providing support technical Iraq.
    He explained that the agency began its work in Iraq in early 2014 and contributed to the financing of a number of important projects, including the water project (Cote Ptirh), and that work was underway to restore the agency opened an office in Baghdad to be the best work around.
