BAGHDAD / NINA / MP, of the State of Law coalition, Abbas al-Bayati ruled out "the adoption of important laws in Parliament during the current legislative term, because there is considerable disagreement among the blocs.

Bayati said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the political blocs formed special committees to negotiate with the concerned parliamentary committees to study the important laws and comment on them, and then agreed upon, noting these committees work behind the scenes and holds regular meetings in order to find a consensus on a number of important laws."

He explained that "the most prominent laws, which are now being discussed in these meetings, are the laws of Federal Council, the Federal Court, the oil and gas and the administrative border, expressing hope that these committees will make an exceptional effort to find a consensus to pass these laws.

He pointed out that "the compatibility on these laws is difficult at the current stage, so it is possible to postponed these laws to the next parliamentary term." / End
