BAGHDAD / NINA / Residents of Baghdad surprised, this morning, with
closing a number of bridges and roads with the start of the half-year
exams in primary, middle and high schools.

    The closure
accompanied with spread of heavy forces of the army and unti riot police
in the streets, leading to Tahrir Square, which suggests the
possibility of starting a similar demonstration of last Saturday in
    favor of the government.

Bridges and roads have seen great
movements of citizens who have been forced to walk on foot for several
kilometers in order to reach their workplaces.

    The correspondent
of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / said that the vehicle traffic
returned to normal at al-Sadoun and Abi Nawas Streets before eleven
o'clock this morning, without knowing the reasons behind the closure of
    streets and bridges. / End
