    Wasit announced electricity distribution Directorate, for the collection of five billion dinars during the last two months of last year, while its cadres complained about the lack of collection and the many abuses on the electrical grid, called on citizens to rationalize consumption and follow the instructions in the correct operation of electrical appliances. 
    He said Wasit electricity director, Haider demanded, hosted by the Provincial Council session attended by (long - Presse) that "Wasit electricity distribution Directorate, managed to collect five billion dinars during the last two months of 2016 , despite the shortfall in the number of tax collectors." 
    He demanded that " the Directorate is facing many problems, including the lack of career staff on permanent staffing and frequent symptoms, as well as abuses taking place on the network generality areas of the province , " noting that " the maintenance and the salaries of staff depends on the circle derived from the collection of consumption wage income." 
    He pointed Wasit power manager, that "Wasit DG of electricity distribution, and through the efforts of the Energy Committee in the provincial council and the cadres of the Directorate, has been able to play a number of campaigns to raise the abuses and remove withdrawals offense which led to a decline in the proportion of Aldhaiat to 30 percent after it had been in the 70 percent the previous period. " 
    He called Wasit electricity director of "citizens in the province, to rationalize consumption and follow the instructions in the correct operation of electrical appliances and take advantage of the means of heating and cooking that does not rely electric, in order to ensure the continuity of power supply equipped them over 24 hours." 
    The province of Wasit need in normal circumstances to about 700 megawatts to meet the need for all participants to get it at the present time on less than this amount just what sometimes leads to get outages in some areas of the province.
