[ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Muna al-Amiri from Diyala province called on Thursday the parliament to compensate the affected people in Diyala province since 2003.[/ltr]
[ltr]Amiri said in a press conference held at the parliament “The majority of the violence events that occurred in Diyala targeted citizens of Bani Tamim tribe in an attempt to ignite sectarian strife, however Bani Tamim tribe announced its rejection to join any bloody war and the tribe’s leading figures will hold press conference this afternoon to clarify its stance on this issue.”[/ltr]
[ltr]“We call the parliament to compensate 34000 displaced families in the province’s districts and compensate 11000 missing persons’ families as well as 18000 martyrs’ families, besides rebuilding 450 Husseiniyas and mosques that were destroyed in Diyala since 2003,” she stressed.[/ltr]
