HAWKS OUT ON DUCHENE:
"(Colorado GM Joe) Sakic insisted on Hartman-plus in any deal, which is a no go for Chicago. Sakic told Stan (Bowman) he has potential better deals/offers, and Stan said we are not moving Hartman, so the talks were shelved earlier this week."
"However, this is a deal that could be resurrected before the deadline if Hartman is included."
"For all of those who think the Hawks couldn't make it work money wise, they easily could this year with Kruger plus being moved. Next year is a different story."
