Twilight News / Customs Court for the Southern District announced what has been achieved to the state treasury of funds during 2016, represented by civil fines imposed and compensation for the management of customs.
The head of the Customs Court for the Southern District Judge Abdul-Khaliq Abdul-Zahra Mubarak responded in a statement to the Twilight News, "The court has made revenue to the state treasury an estimated 2 billion and seventy-three million, during the year 2016".
He said Abdul-Zahra "The revenue earned represented civil fines and compensation for the management of civil Alcomerk."
Customs and courts in Iraq are three: Customs Court for the Central District and the southern region and the northern region. The specialized criminal courts claims the collection of customs duties and taxes.
