Paraguay is burning after the burning of parliament protesters .. And its president comment

    Release date: 2017/4/1

Paraguayan President Horacio Cartes called for calm hours after protesters stormed the Senate building in protest at a constitutional amendment passed by members of the council allowing the president to rule for more than one term.
Some 30 people, including three parliamentarians, were injured after demonstrators vandalized the property of senators and set fire to the building in the capital Asunción after parliament approved by a majority of 25 of its 45 members the constitutional amendment that the government wants and criticized by the opposition insisting on one presidential term provided by the Constitution Current, according to Reuters.
Television footage showed on Saturday morning that protesters were smashing the windows of Congress, clashing with police, burning tires and taking parts of the fence around the Capitol building, while police responded with tear gas and rubber bullets.
