Diwaniya (IraqiNews.com) The Provincial Council of Diwaniya province announced “Formation of an investigative committee to follow up the delay in distributing the salaries of members in local councils in Diwaniya province.Diwaniya First Deputy Governor, Hussein al-Musawi, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com ”A joint committee will be formed in Diwaniya province from Local Government, Provincial Council and the branch of the National Pension Directorate in the province.””The committee will assume the task of coordination with the concerned authorities in the Federal Government to address the delay of the salaries of members in local councils,” he added.”Diwaniya Local Government is strongly interested in this problem where they represent a wide segment of community in the province,” he explained.The salaries of members of local councils are stopped since more than a year and four months. \END\
