    Dhi Qar, April 20 (AKnews) - Vice President of the Services Committee of the Dhi Qar Provincial Council, Shaimaa Al-Fatlawi, revealed suspicions of corruption affecting the contract with the "Earth Link" company for the optical cable and the Public Telecommunications Authority.
    Al-Fatlawi said in a statement that the company obtained approval for the erection of three towers only, in the areas of revolution and Shibani, central Nasiriyah, but the monument is the erection of new towers without the consent of mail and communications Dhi Qar, which called to address Baghdad to get infringements on the contract concluded.
    It added that "the General Authority for Communications in Baghdad commissioned a special committee to investigate the matter, confirmed the breach of the contract signed between the parties, and recommended the imposition of fines of 268 million dinars as a salary" like "for one year in addition to cutting off service.
    Al-Fatlawi pointed out that "the suspicion is the resumption of the company to work after a pause for several days, after directing the General Telecommunications Commission province of Dhi Qar to stop the legal proceedings taken and waive the lawsuit filed without stating the reasons."
    She pointed out that the local government will take a number of legal procedures, and transfer them to the Integrity and Public Prosecution as well as to the General Assembly of the Council of the province of Dhi Qar to take a firm and decisive attitude towards the company. Finished
