Iraq lost one million tons of wheat, Ministry

Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Iraqi Agriculture Ministry announced that one million tons of wheat were lost in Nineveh province due to the presence Da'ish (ISIS) organization there.
The ministry pointed that Nineveh province covers 40% of Iraqi needs of wheat.
This loss resulted that Iraq was unable to reach to self-sufficiency of wheat and barley, which Iraq was to attain this level in 2014.
