BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki denied on Friday a video clip of a stroke.
It is noteworthy that the information office of Iraqi Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, had denied reports that the latter suffered a stroke and transferred to the Iranian capital Tehran.
Activists on social networking sites were reported to have been hit by a stroke on Thursday and taken to Iran for treatment.
"There is no truth to the news that has been circulated, and Maliki is doing his official duties normally and today he met with a delegation of people killed in the popular rally and honored them," said Maliki's office director, Hisham al-Rikabi.
Al-Rikabi added that "the news that Al-Maliki's health is bad" is behind tendentious parties trying to disrupt public opinion. " AH
