The Soran Administration in Erbil has completed an important strategic road linking it to the city of Erbil at a cost of (64) billion dinars.
The General Supervisor of the Administration, Halgurd Sheikh Najib, told Al-Sabah: The road is considered one of the important projects that directly link the administration to the city of Erbil at a cost of (64) billion dinars, noting that work on the road, which is more than ten kilometers long and (16) meters wide, continued for two years.
He added that the road starts from the curves of the Sabilak Road to Khalifan District, which is (48) km from Erbil, stressing that the road contributes greatly to serving the people of the region and tourists and revitalizing commercial activity by facilitating the movement of large trucks coming from the border crossings to the cities of the region.
Najib stated that work is ongoing on the (Zalkli) Bridge project, which will facilitate the movement of vehicles and trucks coming from the Haj Omran border crossing to the region.
