Parliamentary migration to {Sabah}: The return of (3) thousand displaced families to Mosul

The Parliamentary Committee for Migration and Community Reconciliation reported the registration of the return of about three thousand displaced families to the Hassan Shami area in Mosul, while the Ministry of Migration and Displacement confirmed the existence of coordination with the Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Region to facilitate the return of the displaced.
Member of the Parliamentary Committee, Sharif Suleiman, told Al-Sabah: There are intensive security measures to facilitate the return of the displaced to their areas, as registration is being made for the voluntary return of these displaced persons.
He added that the Kurdistan Regional Government supports the efforts of the central government regarding the file of the displaced, as it seeks to close this file through joint cooperation with the federal government, especially with regard to implementing security, service and health measures in the liberated areas that suffer from a lack of services and logistical support.
For his part, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, Ali Abbas Jahagir, told Al-Sabah that the ministry coordinated with officials in the Ministry of Interior of the Kurdistan Region to mature the proposals and resolve the problems related to the return of the displaced, and submit a report on this to the Council of Ministers to facilitate the return of the displaced residing in the camps of the region.
He explained that despite the difference in viewpoints on the file of the displaced between the central government and the region, the return is ongoing and we seek to increase the number of returnees through the new national plan.
