The Religious Endowments Committee in the House of Representatives studied amending the Hajj and Umrah Commission Law. Committee member Taama Al-Lahibi told Al-Sabah that "the new law aims to enhance integrity in the commission's work and ensure the interests of pilgrims are achieved, while taking into account transparency in all procedures."
He added that "the proposed amendments include adding and deleting some articles, in line with the requirements of the current stage."
