Today, Sunday, Minister of Industry and Minerals Khaled Batal inaugurated the center pivot irrigation systems production project.
Batal said, during a press conference followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the project to produce pivot irrigation systems was opened, with a capacity of 1,800 systems or sprinklers annually."
He explained that "this project is part of the government's efforts to provide sprinklers to farmers, in addition to improving the efficiency of water use for agricultural purposes."
He pointed out that "this project is the second, as the first was opened a year ago in Babil Governorate."
