The Ministry of Planning will begin discussing the plans for the year (2025) with the governorates and ministries early next week to draw up a map of projects and determine priorities.
The ministry's spokesman, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, said in an interview with "Al-Sabah", followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that next week will witness movement to develop plans, visions and strategies for each governorate and ministry with the aim of unifying them and working on them during the coming year.
He added that the ministry will discuss with the ministries, governorates and entities not affiliated with a ministry, next year's projects in order to approve them after discussing them and including them in the list of projects that will be implemented during the coming year in order to announce them officially.
Al-Hindawi pointed out that there are priorities represented in presenting important projects that touch on the requirements of the citizen with the aim of raising the level of services in Baghdad and the governorates, as well as achieving sustainable development by implementing hospital and school projects due to their direct importance in the various governorates.
He pointed out that the ministry has contributed during the past months, in coordination with the relevant authorities, to activating and resuming work on (1452) stalled service projects implemented by various beneficiary entities, as it was able to develop solutions and treatments for them.
He explained that these projects were implemented according to three axes, which were to resume work on projects that were not suffering from any interruptions, in addition to addressing problems such as conflicts and other obstacles, which are currently in the process of being implemented, as well as addressing projects that require increased financial allocations, especially those that have stopped and are suffering from extinction.
