    The Head of the Border Ports Authority discussed with the Saudi delegation the mechanisms of developing the ports between the two countries in order to expand the commercial activity.
    According to a statement issued by the Authority, Al-Sabah received a copy of the report. The head of the Border Crossing Authority, Dr. Kazem Mohammed Brisk, met with the Saudi delegation led by the Minister of Trade and Investment, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi and in the presence of the Iraqi Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Rushdi Al-Ani.
    The statement added that the mechanisms of developing border ports between Iraq and Saudi Arabia were discussed. The Saudi minister expressed his country's readiness to develop and establish the border ports between the two countries.
    It is noteworthy that a Saudi trade delegation accompanied Al-Qasabi, in his visit to Baghdad, to discuss the development of economic relations, in the fields of energy and trade exchange between the two countries.
