RIYADH, Iraq (Reuters) - Iraq's oil field operator Rumaila has announced that it has increased production by 36 percent since its formation in June 2010. Production rose from 1,066 to 1,452 million bpd, It is registered until July 2017.
"Our achievements have shown a great deal of commitment, creativity and hard work. The partnership of the Rumaila Operating Group has shown what can be achieved when the expertise, skills and capabilities of the three partners come together," said the head of the organization, Ariel Flores.
"Much has been achieved in a relatively short time. We look forward to further success in the coming years. "
It is worth mentioning that the Rumaila Operating Commission is a joint venture consisting of the Basra Oil Company and BP.
