    province - Journal News Basra province suffers from a major financial crisis, in contrast to the educational, health and service situation in the province, despite the fact that the province is considered the economic capital of Iraq because of its wealth of large resources supporting the state budget, most notably oil.

He called on the Iraqi parliament, the prime minister and related parties to find appropriate and quick solutions to solve the education crisis in the province. "He said.
    "The hospital relied heavily on local government funds, but the financial crisis forced it to cut aid," Ali al-Eidani, director of the pediatric hospital, told the Journal News.
    He pointed out that "the Ministry of Health announced that it does not have financial allocations to the hospital, as the allocations are used to buy some medicines that send to the hospital, which represents 30% of the total need of the hospital, while the hospital management to provide the remaining 70% through donations.
