[ltr]"It is not skillful to overturn the negotiating table and the bases for resolving international disputes should be supported through dialogue," Iranian official media quoted Rohani as saying.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Tehran has cooperated with the IAEA and will continue to cooperate," he said, adding that "Tehran's nuclear activities have been peaceful and will not violate the nuclear agreement as long as the other parties in the 5 + 1 group are committed to it."[/ltr]
[ltr]US President Donald Trump on Friday unveiled his new strategy toward Iran, saying he would impose new measures on Tehran and refused to endorse a joint action plan that includes mechanisms for implementing the nuclear deal.[/ltr]
[ltr]In the same vein, Trump charged Iran's Revolutionary Guards with "harsh sanctions" for supporting terrorism and asked the Treasury Department to take the most severe punishment against him.[/ltr]
[ltr]The 5 + 1 group of the five permanent members of the Security Council plus Germany reached an agreement with Iran in mid-2015 to sign a comprehensive agreement that would end a 12-year crisis between the two sides.[/ltr]
