The head of the electoral administration Mekdad Sharifi said "the Board of Commissioners approved the timetable for the election of the Iraqi Council of Representatives is hoped to be held next year, starting from 15/08/2013 until the completion of the electoral process scheduled for 1/7/2014".
Sharifi said that "the electoral commission had previously announced the initiation start preparations to hold the election of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the success of the electoral process."
