Jordanian King discusses with the members of the Congress Iraq's support for stability

Jordan's King Abdullah II discussed with US senators and members of parliament how to support Iraq's stability and the government's efforts to defeat the criminal "calling".
"King Abdullah II continued his meetings in the US Congress in Washington, where he held meetings with the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the presidents and members of several committees in the Senate and House of Representatives," the official Al Rai newspaper reported in a news item.
"The meetings reviewed the regional and international efforts in the war on terror within a comprehensive approach. His Majesty warned of the danger of spreading the phenomenon of Islamophobia in Western societies so that the extremists do not use them as a pretext to feed their terrorist agendas."
She pointed out that "the latest developments in the Iraqi arena, including the situation in Kurdistan, and the efforts of the Iraqi government in defeating the organization of calling the terrorist, in addition to ways to support Iraq in achieving stability."
"The tripartite agreement between Jordan, the United States and Russia for a ceasefire and the establishment of an area to reduce the escalation in southern Syria, which could contribute to the political process," the king said. Ending / 25
