MP for the National Alliance Amer al-Fayez on the existence of major differences on the budget law, not only related to the share of the region, expected to take a long time.

Fayez said in a press statement: "The problems will appear at the second reading of the project, in conjunction with the presence of demands from the coalition of Iraqi forces and deputies from the province of Basra to amend the law before approval."

He explained: "The most prominent point in the project is not to determine the amount of share of the Kurdistan region, but left the subject to the proportions of the population like other provinces."

He added a member of the National Alliance: "The previous budgets included an exception is to allocate to the region 17% of the budget, and in the absence of that exception, the provinces will take their share according to the mechanisms of other provinces of Iraq," noting: "The draft law included the condition that was set in the past Which is to hand over the provincial government oil production to the federal government in return for receiving a share of the budget.
