The head of the Council of Ministers, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi, held a meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security.
The Council discussed the post-victory phase of the call, the intensification of the intelligence effort, the return of displaced persons and a number of files relating to future plans.
The security of airports and border crossings was also discussed, in addition to the process of regulating the entry of Arab and foreign journalists into Iraq.
The Council also discussed a number of other topics on the agenda and adopted a set of resolutions and directives.
