    [rtl]Arab Parliament Speaker Meshaal al-Salami said that the Arab parliament will adopt a plan of action to counter the candidacy of the occupying power for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the years 2019-2020 .[/rtl]
    [rtl]In his opening speech to the second session of parliament, which was launched at the headquarters of the Arab League under the theme "Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the State of Palestine", Al-Salami stressed that this was in implementation of the Arab Parliament's plan adopted at its emergency session .[/rtl]
    [rtl]He said: "We renew the permanent position of the parliament on its first central issue, Palestine, and the right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent and sovereign state on their national soil with Jerusalem as its capital .[/rtl]
    [rtl]On behalf of the Arab people, the President of the Arab Parliament paid tribute to the countries and peoples that stood with the Arab people in voting in the UN General Assembly against the rejected American decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the occupying power and transfer it to the US Embassy .[/rtl]
    [rtl]He continued: We affirm with high confidence that the people who gave birth to the child fighting Tamimi era, and the heroic martyr Ibrahim Abu Thoria, which caused the occupation forces to lose half his body and fought and martyred the other half will not break and will not defeat his will .[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Salami paid tribute to the young people, children, women and children of the steadfast Palestinian people who defend the dignity and dignity of Palestine, the Arab and Islamic nation and Ahrar .[/rtl]
    [rtl]He added that the other challenge to our national Arab security is the despicable phenomenon of terrorism and what it is trying to do to undermine the stability and security of our Arab countries and societies. He pointed out that our meeting comes in the face of serious challenges related to the security and stability of our Arab countries .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The President of the Arab Parliament said that these serious challenges require a great deal of responsibility and sincere cooperation, stressing his confidence in their ability at the official and popular levels to overcome these grave challenges and to move to a new stage of Arab cooperation and solidarity .[/rtl]
    [rtl]He called on the Arab media to abide by the code of media honor and not to provoke sedition within and between Arab societies and to spread false and false news and information and to be cautious in transmitting information, especially at this critical stage in the history of our Arab nation.[/rtl]
