[ltr]The Jordanian newspaper "Al Ghad" reported that 50 deputies in the Jordanian parliament signed a memorandum addressed to the government calling for the recall of the Jordanian ambassador to Israel.[/ltr]
[ltr]"We are the signatories to the memorandum as a result of the Zionist Knesset's ratification of a law that subjects Jerusalem to Zionist sovereignty, thus paving the way for the expulsion of the indigenous people from the Palestinian Arabs," the parliamentary memorandum said.[/ltr]
[ltr]The memorandum added that Jordanian parliamentarians are calling for the recall of the ambassador, Walid Obeidat, in protest against "unilateral and racist practices by the Israeli occupation authorities, which do not respect agreement or a covenant." Ending 29/34[/ltr]
