    The Iraqi General Company for Cement, one of the formations of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced on Sunday plans to achieve a significant increase and significant development in production and sales during the current year.
    The company's general manager Hussein al-Khafaji said in a press statement to the media center in the ministry obtained "Economy News" a copy of it, "his company achieved a significant development last year in the production and sales of its products of cement, "A surge in the percentage of sales following the implementation of the ban on import, which came into force since the beginning of 2016".
    He pointed out that "this development was the result of the adoption of an intensive work plan to increase production capacity through the introduction of new production lines and the rehabilitation and maintenance of laboratories in the liberated governorates and ensure the requirements of its operation efforts and self-potential and the lowest costs."
    Al-Khafaji revealed that "the preparation of a plan for the current year aims to achieve a development rate of production and sales up to 165% as prepared by the company in the introduction of most of its plants to service in the liberated areas as well as ongoing rehabilitation work and the development of production lines in the southern cement plants."
    He stressed that "the company is going according to plans systematic and studied depends on the great experiences of its members to develop production in quantity and quality and provide all the needs of the local market in various sectors, especially the achievement of the cement plant Babylon, the company's last year by the production of non-typical cement and oil wells and the processing of Basra oil companies (B - G). This is a clear indication of the company 's ability to manufacture all types of cement with high quality.

    The Iraqi General Company for Cement announced on Sunday that it had prepared a new plan to raise production and sales in the company to 165% during the current year, noting that it achieved a surge in sales after the implementation of the import ban.
    The company's general manager Hussein Mohsen al-Khafaji said in a press statement received by "Economy News" that "the company achieved in the last year 2017 a significant development rate in the production and sales of its products of cement, noura and fluorine amounted to 27% compared to the year before 2016.
