[rtl]Kuwait's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid al-Jarallah said that Iraq has resumed paying Kuwaiti compensation for the "invasion" of the Saddam Hussein who was buried in 1990 and started paying the installments a month ago .[/rtl]
[rtl]"The compensation will be paid in cash under an agreement under the umbrella of the United Nations program until the end of 2021," Jarallah said in a televised statement .[/rtl]
[rtl]On the property of Kuwaitis in Iraq, Al-Jarallah confirmed that the property of the citizens is there and is preserved and there is continuity with the government in Iraq on enabling Kuwait to dispose of its property . "[/rtl]
[rtl]The United Nations Compensation Commission announced that the rate of payments from the Iraqi Fund for compensation to Kuwait will increase annually until 2021.[/rtl]
[rtl]"Payments from the fund were suspended in October 2014 because of the security challenges and difficulties faced by Iraq in its budget . "[/rtl]
