US, Jordan sign memorandum of understanding worth over 6 billion dollars

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi on Wednesday signed a new $ 6.375 billion memorandum of understanding between the United States and Jordan at the rate of $ 1.275 billion a year from fiscal year 2018 to fiscal year 2022.
"This is the first non-binding memorandum of understanding on bilateral foreign aid brokered by the Trump administration," Sky News said in a news release, referring to the continued commitment of the United States to help Jordan and the latter's support for US goals in the region.
