The head of the Tourism Authority, Hamoud Mohsen al-Yaqoubi, said on Saturday that efforts should be made to return Iraq to its natural position among the countries of the world in the field of tourism.
Al-Yaqoubi said during the third Iraqi tourism forum (lQTF) held under the theme of "Tourism and Peoples' Forum" with the participation of 45 Iraqi, Arab and international tourism companies. The forum brings together Iraqi, Arab and international expertise to improve and improve the quality of tourism in Iraq.
He explained that the Ministry of Culture represented by the Tourism Authority is working hard to restore Iraq to its natural position among the countries of the world in the field of tourism.
He pointed out that Iraq is a member of the World Tourism Association, was elected in 2017 as Vice President of the Assembly in the Middle East.
He expressed his hope to enhance the tourism services in Iraq and raise the quality of services provided to Arab and foreign tourists, appreciating the efforts of the participants in the Forum to make tourism in Iraq more successful and increase the bonds of cooperation between companies for this principle.
