[rtl]GAZA - Israeli army chief of staff General Gadi Eisenkot confirmed in an interview with the Maariv newspaper on Friday the validity of reports of meetings between Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Zionist officials.[/rtl]
[rtl]In an interview with Maariv newspaper, Eisenkot said Ben Salman met with the head of the Zionist National Security Council, Meir Ben Shabat. While the Zionist general did not clarify the place and time of the meeting, Bin Salman, who is in the United States for three weeks, met with a number of figures, opinion makers and economic actors. His meetings also include Jewish organizations that defend the Zionist occupation.[/rtl]
[rtl]Two weeks ago, the Times of Israel reported secret meetings held in Cairo between officials from Saudi Arabia and the Zionist entity, coinciding with the presence of Ben Salman, there on his official visit to Egypt.[/rtl]
[rtl]In response to a question about the existence of an alliance between the occupying power and "moderate Sunni states", Eisenkot said "there is covert cooperation out of sight"He said.[/rtl]
[rtl]He pointed out that "there is an intersection of common interests to establish regional stability, and we have a common ally is the United States of America," adding that "the reality has changed, including thinking that we can not cooperate because of the Palestinian cause, There are common threats, and there is a need for joint cooperation.
