Contracts to import sugar and edible oil to support the ration card
04/4/2018 12:00 am [rtl]BAGHDAD / Taha Hussein The Ministry of Commerce has entered into new contracts to import sugar and edible oil with a private company to replenish the ration card items, while the Committee of Relief of IDPs in the ministry to deliver food to liberated areas and camps displaced. The Director General of the General Company for Food Trade in the Ministry Engineer Qassem Hamoud said in an exclusive interview to "Al-Sabah": The company concluded during the past few days a contract to provide sugar, with one of the private sector companies and competitive prices has not been the Ministry of Commerce since Ten years. He pointed out that it was contracted in the same context, to obtain food oil for the next three months to support the ration card items, which confirmed that the vocabulary will see stability in the distribution during the next period after the adoption of the budget and the arrival of financial allocation to the ministry. Hamoud pointed out that his company seeks through the conclusion of these contracts to provide these materials through the purchase of local and international markets during the period of availability and at reasonable prices, and thus can buy large quantities of materials at lower prices . He stressed that the launch of funds for the purchase of ration card items and delivery to companies of the Ministry of Commerce in the early times, contributes to providing these companies the opportunity to get special offers and cheaper prices through offers by local and foreign companies to provide the ration card items. In a related context, the Director General of the Department of Planning and Follow-up member of the Committee of Relief of the displaced in the ministry, Abthal Sabet special statement made to the "morning": the continuation of the Committee to deliver the ration card items to all liberated areas in the provinces: Nineveh, Anbar, Salahuddin and Kirkuk, IDP camps throughout the country.
