    The Ministry of Interior Inspectorate announced that it had spent more than 800 million dinars in the Diyala Traffic Department and the Najda district in the province, contrary to the controls.
     
    A statement issued by the inspectorate - received by the Baghdad Post - that "the checkers of the Office of the Inspector General of the Ministry of Interior in the province of Diyala was able to discover the disbursement of funds exceeded the 800 million dinars in the Diyala Traffic Department and the Department of Najda in the province contrary to the controls and instructions.
     
    The statement added that "the Audit Committee of the Office of the inspection of Diyala - the presidency of the Director of the Office - has audited the accounts of the Directorate of Traffic Diyala, where discovered the disbursement of 500 thousand dinars for employees at the headquarters of the Directorate for three months, while the instructions ordered the disbursement of the amount of 250 thousand dinars only, Total disbursements contrary to the controls for officers and employees and staff of the headquarters of the Directorate for three months 225 million dinars.
     
    He continued that "the Committee discovered that the mechanism of distribution of these amounts contrary to the controls and applied in the Directorate since 2014 to March of this year 2018, and the total amount disbursed error 765 million dinars."
     
    He added that "the committee also checked the accounts of the police department of Najda in the province of Diyala, and also discovered that the department spent the amount of 500 thousand dinars, contrary to the controls last month of 2017 and the first two months of the year 2018, the total disbursement of the section for the three months contrary to controls ( KD 52,750,000.
