    [ltr]Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi warned on Tuesday of tampering with the results of the upcoming elections, stressing Iraq's intention to launch new air strikes against an organization calling on the terrorist in the Syrian depth.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"We are warning of manipulation of the elections and we will take the maximum penalties, including imprisonment and fining them," Abbadi said during his weekly conference attended by Mawazine News. "We are coming to a new stage and choosing a new government.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The government and the electoral commission are committed to the duty to protect the democratic process," he said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]On the aerial bombardment, Abadi said, "We ordered the Iraqi air force to carry out deadly strikes in Syria inside Syria to protect our borders and prevent infiltration into our territories, which hit leaders and their positions.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Our forces continue to impose their control over the liberated areas and to promote stability and disband them from gangs that support the terrorist," he said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added that "the media to investigate and check the information and make sure before publishing and move away from the fever election or targeting the government of this dangerous decline," noting that "some media have launched rumors of reducing the salaries of security forces to achieve electoral gain."[/ltr]
