[ltr]An oil official said on Thursday that Dana Gas, Crescent Petroleum, Dragon Oil and Eni are among the companies that sent letters to participate in the round of awarding Iraqi oil and gas contracts.[/ltr]
[ltr]"Exxon, Lukoil and Gazprom are not interested in entering the competition," said Abdul Mahdi al-Amidi, general manager of the Iraq Petroleum and Licensing Contracts Department. He added that Zarubneft had made a presentation later.[/ltr]
[ltr]Iraq is offering 11 new exploration sites in border areas with Iran and Kuwait and in the waters of the Gulf.Ending 29 / Mn[/ltr]
