Crescent Petroleum intends to double the production of gas in Iraq in 3 years

The energy company plans to increase its natural gas production in northern Iraq by 80 million cubic feet per day by October and 500 million cubic feet per day in three years, Bader Jafar, head of the United Arab Emirates-based Crescent, said on Thursday.
Jafar said at a conference that the figures do not include the production of its unit, Dana Gas, which operates in Iraq. He added that Crescent Petroleum currently produces 330 million cubic feet per day of gas and 20,000 barrels per day of condensates in northern Iraq.
