    [ltr]Vice President of the Republic, Nuri al-Maliki, on Thursday during a meeting with the Special Envoy of the President of the United States, Brett McGurk, that the people of Iraq looks forward to forming a strong government capable of achieving its ambitions, while stressing the need for joint cooperation between Baghdad and Washington in various fields.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The office of the Vice-President of the Republic, in a statement received / Mawazine News, a copy of it, "Maliki, received at his office, the special envoy of the President of the United States of America, Brett McGurk," noting that "the meeting reviewed the latest political and security situation in Iraq and the region, Bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
