    [ltr]Gold prices fell on Wednesday on pressure from the dollar's rise ahead of the announcement of the latest meeting of the Federal Reserve.[/ltr]
    [ltr]By 0645 GMT, spot gold fell 0.1 percent to $ 1289.71 an ounce.[/ltr]
    [ltr]US futures for June delivery fell 0.2 percent to $ 1289.40 an ounce.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The dollar rose against a basket of currencies as investors awaited the unveiling of the latest meeting of the US central bank later on Wednesday to draw up signs of a rate hike.[/ltr]
    [ltr]There was little change in spot spot trade, which traded at $ 16.52 an ounce.[/ltr]
