Revealed the head of a coalition of state law, Nuri al-Maliki, his position on the candidate for prime minister in the next government.
A statement from his office received the agency of all Iraq [where] a copy of it, that al-Maliki in the "response to questions asked reporters through the window of communication with the media on the website of the Information Office on the information about his position on the appointment of the next prime minister."
Maliki stressed that "does not nominate anyone and does not object to the nomination of anyone for the post of prime minister provided that comes through the legal context."
But Maliki expressed his objection at the same time to "any candidate to circumvent the election results and legal contexts."
He called on "the media to be accurate in the transfer of positions and taking into account their political contexts, and away from the coverings that lead to confusion of papers and confusion of public opinion."
