    The UAE Foreign Minister said that "Iraq is currently undergoing a lot of problems and disorders, but the togetherness of Iraqis and Iraq's neighbors and the international community can provide support and advice in order to search for a better future for Iraq and Iraqis."
     
    For his part, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said during a speech delivered at the ceremony, said that "the people of Iraq, residents of the UAE and they work contributed to the construction of the UAE and the development and progress and this is a Medal of pride for all Iraqis."
     
    He noted that the opening of the embassy in Abu Dhabi demonstrates the depth of relations and national and cultural communication between the peoples of the two countries.
     
    He pointed out that "the design of the new embassy building reflects the ancient civilization of Mesopotamia and the depth of the Arab and Islamic world for Iraq, which over the ordeals and difficulties, is still undergoing transformation transition to a democratic system to establish a free and dignified life for all its citizens."
     
    And that "relations between the UAE and Iraq are old and have become after the process of change atypical, as the United Arab Emirates with a number of other Arab countries stood with the new Iraq, in periods of difficult and very difficult, and that the relations between the two countries advanced in the areas of political, economic, trade and investment."
     
    Zebari said, "The two countries Mqublan on the activities and programs in the future, the biggest increase in flights and daily communication and continuous investment boom in Iraq and UAE companies to enter Iraq are all signs bode well for this relationship."
