Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi stressed that the proper management of the state resources and the provision of proper services can provide better services despite the challenges and lack of resources. "
"The citizen in the war is patient and patient, but he is waiting for these services and we must listen to the legitimate demands of our people and respond to them," Abadi said during a meeting with district directors in Diyala province.
He called on "cooperation with the private sector as a key partner in the performance and economic output of the state," stressing that "the benefits of the peace phase are different, foremost of which is to provide a safe environment for reconstruction and companies and provide services and job opportunities."
"We must preserve the unity of the country and we have succeeded in cooperating and supporting the citizens, and this cooperation will continue and we will unite against terrorism and the remaining remnants so that they will not be able to return again."
He called on "officials in the government departments to work with their full powers and make every effort to serve the people of Diyala province."
The statement pointed out that "during the meeting discussed the service projects, health and education rates of achievement and efforts to restore stability and the needs of citizens and the reality of electricity, water, agriculture, roads and various issues and services throughout the province of Diyala."
