    [rtl]A spokesman for Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi's office Saad al-Hadithi said on Friday that the government is continuing its work to recover money smuggled by corrupt officials as well as financial assets in international banks .[/rtl]
    [rtl]Al-Hadithi said in a statement to Al-Maaloumah that "the government is seeking to recover all the Iraqi funds that are in the international banks, whether under the former regime or in the current period ."[/rtl]
    [rtl]"There has been ongoing work and discussions since last years with governments of countries with financial assets to Iraq before 2003, " he said.[/rtl]

    Saad al-Hadithi, spokesman for the Information Office of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, said that the government is seeking to recover all the Iraqi funds found in international banks, both under the former regime or in the current period.

    He added "Hadithi" in a press statement, that there has been ongoing work and discussions since the past years with governments of countries with financial assets to Iraq before 2003.

    He explained that the government is also seeking to recover money smuggled by corrupt officials, where there is cooperation from Interpol and the World Bank in terms of money smuggling and money laundering.
