Iraq's Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi speaks during an interview with the Associated Press in Baghdad, Iraq, Monday, Nov. 28, 2016. Al-Abadi said Islamic State fighters lack the â € ggut 'to withstand a long battle with his forces for the city of Mosul, which he says may be back in Iraqi hands by the end of 2016. In a wide- ranging interview with The Associated Press in Baghdad, al-Abadi said Mosul was now completely encircled and that the speed in which the surrounding area had been secured had surpassed his expectations.
