The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its strong condemnation and condemnation of the "terrorist" attack on the Iranian city of Ahvaz, which resulted in dozens of deaths and injuries.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmad Mahjoub said in a tweet on Twitter that Iraq condemns and condemns the terrorist attack in Ahwaz, which resulted in the deaths of a number of victims and wounded members of the Iranian security services and civilians.
"The foreign ministry reiterates Iraq's firm stance on the rejection of violence regardless of the motives and the reasons and in any country that would tamper with the security and stability of states," he said.
"The ministry expresses its condolences to the families of the victims, to the government and the people of Iran, and to the wounded for speedy recovery," Mahjoub said.
